RefWorks has since released a compatible version of their Word add-in, but it can only be installed via the Microsoft Add-In Store. In Microsoft Word 2016, under the 'Insert' ribbon area, locate and click the 'Store' button: In the pop-up window, type 'RefWorks' in the search box: Click the 'Add' button in the search results page. Note: Any custom dictionary that you create in Word is used by other Office for Mac applications. Make sure that a document is open. If no document is open, the next step won't work. On the Word menu, click Preferences. Under Authoring and Proofing Tools, click Spelling and Grammar. Under Spelling, click Dictionaries. Jul 05, 2016 In a Microsoft Office application, you can click the “Insert” tab on the ribbon, click the “Add-ins” icon on the bar, and select “Store”. While we’re showing Word 2016 for Windows in the screenshot here, this option is available in the same place in other Office applications and Word for other platforms. Exit all Microsoft Office programs. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK. Expand the appropriate folders to locate the registry key that you want to delete. (Refer to the 'Main locations of Word settings in the Windows Registry' section.) Click to select the key that you want to delete.

If you add all your bibliography sources when you’re writing a paper in Microsoft Word, can you export them and move them to another computer?

This question came up recently, and here’s how it works.

When you’re in Word, click the References tab, and then click Manage Sources (it’s in the Citations & Bibliography group).

Next, click Browse.

The window that opens up contains your source file–for example, Sources.xml.

From here, you can copy the file to a disk or a server, so that you can save it onto another computer.

After you’ve copied the file, start Word on the computer that you want to add the sources to.
